Trying to get this project off the ground has been an exercise in frustration doing it alone. I have now found a volunteer who will be a co-director with me.
His name is Charlie Kaufman, formerly a talk show host at WDNA. He brings with him a wealth of contacts and inspiration that will help propell thsi cause forward.

After making commitments and promises the Seven Seas Spa has stopped responding to my communications. It seems that we have not been able to get support from larger organizations for these event.
With that in mind, we've decided to cut back on the size of the event and instead create more smaller ones that are more manageable. |

Everyday I see more and more of the tragedy that has hit Haiti, and more I realize that these people have been dealt a devastating blow, in 30 seconds, that no war could do in such a short time. They have no resources because the people that they depend on to help, the Government and the Church, were devastated and laying in rubble. At first I thought I would just donate some money to one of the many charitable causes out there, but realized that I ..........and we, could do so much more...

GREAT NEWS
Wehave confimed a date to hold an event at the Seven Seas Spa & Salon in the Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort, Sunny Isles Beach.
The event will be held on March 18th. We are stiull working out the details but it looks like this could be a good event to help the people of Haiti. |

We won't be doing an event at the Gulf Stream Race Track. They wanted to charge for use of the space that we would be using. |

I talked to the Marketing Directors from 2 Whole Foods stores today. One is trying to get support from the Gulf Stream Racetrack to host the Broward team. They are very interested but no commitments have been made. |

The Associated Bodyworkers and Massage Professional Association has placed a notice on their website announcing our event to their members and has sent an email to all of their members in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade Counties. |
